A wine that perfectly synthesises the territory and its unique character, Maurizio Zanella Rosso del Sebino IGT is the iconic red bearing the signature of Ca’ del Bosco’s founder, Maurizio Zanella, right on the label. Crafted in classic Bordeaux style, the blend is composed of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, with the remaining portion divided equally between Merlot and Cabernet Franc.
Only the finest grape selections are used, each vinified separately to preserve their individual qualities. Maceration lasts around three weeks, followed by 12 months of barrel ageing—two-thirds of which are new—resulting in remarkable aromatic finesse and depth. The bouquet evokes notes of eucalyptus, liquorice, and toast, while the palate reveals a rich, full-bodied wine with smooth, supple tannins and long-lasting structure.
A powerful yet elegant red that pairs beautifully with roasted meats, aged cheeses, and rich, savoury dishes.
