The wine, which bears the signature of the founder of Ca' del Bosco, Maurizio Zanella, on its label, observes the classic proportions of Bordeaux: 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, the rest approximately half Merlot and Cabernet Franc. For the business card of the company, selected and vinified separately, the best qualities of grapes. The maceration lasts about three weeks, the ageing in barrels twelve months, and two-thirds of the barrels are new. The enormous aromatic finesse and concentration are reminiscent of eucalyptus, liquorice and toast. On the palate, the wine develops a wonderful fullness of rich and supple tannin.

About Ca' del Bosco
The history of the Ca 'del Bosco winery has the fanciful connotations of a fairy tale, of a dream that is realized between illuminated visions that go beyond reality. It all began in the mid-1960s when Annamaria Clementi Zanella purchased a house in the hills in Erbusco in the heart of Franciacorta surrounded by a chestnut grove and locally called "Ca 'del bosc". Here, his young son Maurizio was struck on the wine route when his mother planted the first vineyard. A love at first sight that continues in the Champagne region where what was initially an ethereal dream becomes a clear vision, and returned to its wood in the Brescia area at the beginning of the 70s, giving life to what will be one of the most modern and advanced Italian wineries.
