Marc is the oldest and traditional Liquor of Northern Italy. It is won from the distillation of the integral parts of the grapes, the Trester. The Nonino marc is distilled from fresh and soft grapes and fermented at controlled temperature.
The family Nonino dedicates itself to the production of the finest marc already since 1897. She has devoted herself to the distillation of marc on the basis of authochtone types of vine. Noninos untiring effort for the preservation of these local kinds is unique in Italy. The family works with 42 discontinuous distilling pistons with steam; the result from knowledge of years of research. It guarantees the pure choice of the marc heart. Only the distillation of fresh and soft trester produces the pure, elegant marc with rich fragrance.
